Welcome to the NSGC Mentor Site Instruction Guide.

The Mentor Program allows NSGC members to find mentors among other members. You can do this through the Mentor Finder page, which allows you to search by Specialty, Years of Experience, and by Location. Users of the NSGC Mentor Site fall into 3 roles.

  1. Registered User (Mentee)
  2. Mentor
  3. Committee Member

Everyone who is a member of the site is allowed to request a mentor and become a Mentee, so thoughout the instructions, realize that we will refer to a normal user of the site as a Mentee even though that person may not have a Mentor yet.
